Condition Remains GREEN

Condition continues to remain GREEN. Users should be aware of iPhishing and untrusted Java Applets. There has been an uptick in attacks using Java applets, mostly directed at Windows machines. Users should consider the following:

• Disable Java in your broswer.
• In /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences.app deselect "Allow User to grant permissions to content from an untrusted authority."
• In /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences.app deselect "Use certificates and keys in browser keystore"
• In /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences.app deselect "AUse personal certificate automatically if only one matches server request."
• In /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences.app select "Enable blacklist revocation check."

Users should have changed their iTunes/AppleID/me.com/Apple developer passwords. Awareness Alert returns to GREEN at the Secure Normal State.
