Condition Remains GREEN

Apple has updated the status in an email including the restoration priorities of the Developer Web Site. Last Thursday, 7/18/2013, Apple took down the developer site when a criminal hacker performed an illegal Pen Test, downloaded private developer information and eventually published the data obtained illegally on YouTube. Condition Remains GREEN

Apple has notified developers that developer information was accessed by hackers. While the data is encrypted, Apple indicated that they currently they cannot rule out that some personal data may have been access.

Updates

  • Criminal has lied to NEWS OUTLETS and did harvest emails from a host of NON-APPLE employees.
  • Apple has not released the number of Email addresses harvested. (subset estimate 100,000)
  • Email addresses have been exposed. Developers should change their passwords.
  • Email Addresses have been exposed. Developers may be targeted in phishing attacks.
  • This does not impact "customer data." Customer defined by Apple as non-developers.
