Condition Remains GREEN

Chrome 12.0.742.91 released to the Stable Channel for MacOSX and other platforms. It includes new features and a host of security fixes. The most important in our opinion is the removal of Google Gears and the ability to remove Flash Cookies from within Chrome. We continue to recommend that users consider using Flash Block when using Chrome. The update can be applied going into About Chrome in the application and selecting update.

Adobe has updated Flash Player for MacOSX to version 10.3.181.22 to address a cross platform scripting vulnerability CVE-2011-2107 which has been exploited in the wild. 

We Recommend the following actions:

• Update to the latest version of Flash Player.
• Review your setting in System Preferences>Flash Player.
• Consider using a browser extension that limits Flash Player's behavior.
