A report by the BBC indicates that a Chinese auction site is selling iTunes account passwords obtained in iPhishing attacks, Apple servers remain un-compromised. Users should change their iTunes passwords, no list has been generated and made public as to who was compromised. It is best practice to do the following.
- Change your Apple ID and iTunes password today.
- It should be that part of your best practices to change your iTunes password on a monthly bases.
iTunes accounts are high value targets for criminals.
